Bruce Watkins - Operating Levy.  Last year's bond referendum was successful for the St. Joseph Kennedy School.  This is an operating levy.  300 districts in the state are asking for levys.  Nine years ago the district asked for a levy - $100 per student - $1,000,000, then another about 4 years ago - $450 per student or $4,500,000 per year.  Helped with transportation, fine arts and extracurricular activities.  Put the district in a position to stop paying interest on loans taken out to pay vendors, etc. until funds come from the state.  Levys are coming to an end.  As the most recent one expires, they would cancel the old and as asking for $650 per student or $6,500,000.  For a $100,000 home if both questions are answered yet 1st question is renewal, 2nd is technology - taxes will increase $1 per month or $12 per year - because the first two levys expire.

Nominations & Elections - Jane Litchy and Jeanne Dotzler - nominated and accepted for Treasurer and Vice President.
